Octagon House!
It's a house! In the shape of an octagon! It's Octagon House!

I maybe get a little excited over Victorian-era oddities.

Its like the house from "the claim" the end up dragging it through town to move it. Pretty good movie. Cool shot!

Thanks, all.

It's a historical house at the Genesee Country Village Museum. I had my nifty fifteen (mm) lens on, and knew I wanted to get some of the amazing landscaping in. So I got down on my hands & knees and framed it.

I had plenty of time-- my wife was watching my son grind 20 pounds of barley for the 18th century brewery. , and yeah, he did all twenty pounds.
