Trying to change the look of my website bph.smugmug.com step by step.

Lets start by uploading new pictures to my slideshow

I kind of forgot how to do that and I just spent 15 minutes going back and worth on my site deleting, losing and reloading pictures but I can t seem to find a way to put new pictures to my slideshow grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Please help

I'd suggest just making a new gallery and uploading to that gallery. Then you can point your slideshow to use that gallery in the settings. It can use any gallery you choose.

Wow !!! I was actually thinking of that but I really want to put only a few pictures from deferrent categories

Make a new unlisted gallery and collect photos from any of your other galleries. Then
use that gallery for the source.

Thank you all I followed your advice last night Smug EricHello and it looks like Allen was telling me the same thing.
Now (yes there is always a now) can I get rid of the square box in my front page?
The pictures on the slide are not all the same size so looking at that square ( border) behind the pictures is kind of distracting, isn t it?

What square box? Don't see any.

Yep got rid of them.
However Im now trying to make several categories in my test2 gallery in people and forgot how to do it.

You can't add categories to a gallery.

> categories contain galleries and optionally subcategories
> subcategories contain galleries
> galleries contain photos.

You could create test2 as a subcategory in the category people and then assign galleries to that subcategory.

I see . I was confused because I alwyays create my categories & gallery from Picassa or other program .
