I have been working on a subscription page, http://www.ericholmesphotography.com/subscribe, and I am getting a script error that doesn't allow the subscription button to work properly. When the user puts in information, I get the subscription, but the button is supposed to take you to another screen. It doesn't do anything now and makes the user feel as though nothing is happening.

Ideas?

The $ symbol is not defined to be jQuery (it is some sort of shortcut for document.getElementById() instead and thus doesn't have a .hide() method).

You may want to solve that problem by putting this inside your .ready() handler where $ is defined to be jQuery.

You may have just blew my mind. Lol I don't understand a whole lot of this, just a bit.

It moves one function inside of the other where jQuery will be properly defined.
