Here are three simple tutorials we hope will encourage you to try something new.

The Hot Seat

A lifelong interest in landscape photography has led Eyal Oren to make a study of his adopted hometown of Marblehead, MA. As you can see, his dedication is paying off!

Actually, she's my niece - but she 'might' have looked like this 100 years ago. :)

Thanks Aaron. It's about 4 days old now! :)

I'm not sure what you mean about producing EXIF for a layer, but I'll look it up.

Definitely a shot to be proud of; it truly looks old, unposed and so natural. Just Peachy2

What Aaron means is that if you used a standalone file like this -- http://www.flickr.com/photos/30886604@N04/2897368491/ -- to generate the border, then you need to have taken that shot during the Challenge time frame and include the exif data for it as well as for the picture of your niece. If the photo frame was generated by a filter in your editing software, and wasn't a separate photo layer, then it is presumably ok. Right Aaron?

Wow. Nice work, among the most convincing on theme this time, I think.

The wear and tear is impressive....I've been spending untold hours working on images from old photo albums and the digital aging on this is extraordinarily true to what I find in the albums.
