Stan, I don't remember Cambridge having a beach! Where did you shoot this? Nice action shot.

Wow! they're hooking up kites to anything now! I was mesmerized by a kite surfer a few weeks back in virginia beach. Cool to watch them jump and then just hang that extra couple seconds.

It's amazing what I can get with my 100-400 lens

It was shot at Brancaster beach on the North Norfolk coast, about the only place left to play in England, The local authorities are banning it 'cos its dangerous.

I got a call from this guys partner asking if I had any burst shots of Mark (AKA Kenny as is in South Park). She wanted to give him a photo for his birthday. I managed to get the picture up to 36" long but there is too much movement so he is not sharp enough . But at 24" it is sharp enough. The largest size on Smug mog is 2000 PX

Ya know, it wasn't until after i posted last night that I realized this was a composite... it's the same guy. Doesn't matter though, it's a really compelling image. Nice work, I really like the pattern.

Thanks Wxwax should have leveled the horizon though. I didn't notice it until I sent the picture
I think I need a check list of steps to tick off in PS postwork cos I always see some glaring omission when it is too late

I've never seen them buggy jumping with the kites, but I have seen lots of surfers using them:

Too much glare and I had to crop out several kites to reduce the width of the shot (which would've made the kites even smaller). I had I think a baker's dozen in the original shot.

I also got this one by itself that afternoon (yeah, needs some work but I still like it):
