Tutorials

Ever find yourself wondering just how someone managed to create an image using different effects?

Here are three simple tutorials we hope will encourage you to try something new.

The Hot Seat

A lifelong interest in landscape photography has led Eyal Oren to make a study of his adopted hometown of Marblehead, MA. As you can see, his dedication is paying off!

Africa!

Dgrinners Harryb, Pathfinder, and others joined Andy Williams and Marc Muench on Safari in East Africa recently. Here are some awesome threads to check out!

To remove the thumbs up and thumbs down icons:
Go to "Tools" > Gallery Settings. Scroll down to the "Social" section. The top option is "photorank" - click NO and save.

Whilst you have the Gallery Settings dialogue box open. Scroll to the "Look and Feel" section
Fourth option down is "Camera Info" - select NO .... and save

I notice you have allowed visitors to access your "Original", high res images in your "T-Ball" gallery. This provides a way of people stealing those high res images (it doesn't matter that you disabled right click ... they can still be taken without buying them). I'd suggest you read this thread:
“ORIGINALS = a gateway to free photos, & right click protection is NOT PROTECTION” http://www.dgrin.com/showthread.php?t=161044

Essentially what you should do whilst you are changing the gallery settings is go to the "Security and Privacy" section.
The last choice is "Largest Size". Choose one of the options that is smaller than "Original" (eg I use XL which is a 1024 x 768 pixel image)
See this link for dimensions of each size: http://help.smugmug.com/customer/portal/articles/93250
