We're reviving the DGrin tradition!

Simply reply to this thread and post the image you think is the best you've seen on DGrin this year. It can be your photo or someone else's, as long as:

You have permission from the photographer to post his or her image, and they must understand that their image will be included in a Photo of the Year gallery on dgrin.smugmug.com, as well as being featured in the DGrin banner
Include the photographer's name (real or DGrin user name) and confirmation that you have permission
The image must have been taken and also posted on DGrin in 2011
The image must be suitable for general audiences (no nudity)

Submissions must be received before January 13, 2012, California time.

Every Dgrinner is eligible, excluding the moderators/administrators.
After the submission period has ended I will add a poll. There will be only one voting round.
Of course the image only needs to be entered once to be eligible. It's the votes that count!

Prize: In addition to bragging rights here on DGrin, you'll also receive a credit for one MetalPrint, up to 20x30", so you can brag to your friends out in the real world, too!

UDPATE:I've added the poll to this thread. Vote for one image. Voting is open for 14 days. The poll images are cropped thumbnails, make sure you browse the thread to see each image as it was intended. Good luck!
