Here are three simple tutorials we hope will encourage you to try something new.

The Hot Seat

A lifelong interest in landscape photography has led Eyal Oren to make a study of his adopted hometown of Marblehead, MA. As you can see, his dedication is paying off!

Film lives, sort of...
Apparently it takes me two years to go through a roll of film in my F5. I processed the roll that I finished last week and these pictures from two years ago were on there of my daughter with our then..new puppy.

So this is my first ever scanned film photo. I plan to get into it a lot more this winter...I just love shooting film and the look of it.

Yes I know this is not a masterpiece ....but I really like it. Maybe just because it is my own daughter.

I'm doing some work with film these days too. I think it is an honest-to-goodness great photo, so you're not (too) biased :) I really like the tight crop, the sharp eye, the contrast in the hair and softness of puppy's fur. It all works for me ;)

Thumbs up to film.

I bought and restored a Yashica Mat 124G twin lens reflex medium format camera awhile back. It is true therapy to load it up and take it out for a shoot. It sure slows me down a ton......but....thats just the thing to bring you back to basics sometimes.

not bad, only dog is somewhat odd positioned. If you would not have mentioned it, I would have thought at a first glance that it was part of the collar.

Though this thread was long gone with no comments, thanks for the comments!
As soon as I get a scanner I plan to do more of this....it just looks different...in a good way, and it is so different to make actual photographs you can hold in your hand.
For those of you who look at it and don't like it...you are in good company....she doesn't like it either :).
