We do not have any ads. We are completely ad free. Would you mind sending a link to one of the galleries that you see this in? We'll be more than happy to take a look.
Why do I have highlighted words with popup ads in my galleries? After all I pay for the Pro Account. Is something wrong?
The issue isn't with your SmugMug site, sounds like Adware / Malware issue on your computer. Could have been a site you've visited that installed this on your computer. I've had it happen in the past. I used Spybot to clean it up. Check your antivirus software to see if it can scan & clean.

I have AVG and Microsoft Security Essentials and Super Anti-spyware programs running on my computer.

Definitely sounds like a messed up computer to me. A lot of times those anti-whatever programs are actually the culprit. Lots of deceptive practices in that arena...
Check out your site on a different browser to see if your issue is limited to the main browser you're using. e.g. Firefox: www.getfirefox.com or Chrome: www.google.com/chrome
If so, it might be just a toolbar or browser addon / extension that's causing the ads.
If you see the issue in other browsers too, there's likely some malware in your computer adding ads to certain pages. You could try SpyBot to see if it can find and possibly remove the malware: http://www.safer-networking.org/index2.html
