Help with Previewing Blurb book on Smugmug?
I've looked around DGrin for this but can't find the answer anywhere. Blurb offers a code that you can post on other websites that lets people preview your book. How do I go about putting this into a gallery so that someone can preview the book on my site? I assume they can't actually buy Blurb books on smugmug, so I'd like them to at least view the preview and then click though to Blurb to buy the book. Can someone help? I am at a loss. Thanks!

Wow- thank you. I should have thought of that. However, though it seems to work for me in Firefox while logged in and out, it doesn't seem to work on Safari or IE. It says "book preview not available." Any idea why? I do have the preview option on in Blurb.

I'm not seeing an image on any browser. Is the image public?

This answer may make me sound dumb... but I didn't include an image in this gallery. I just wanted the book preview. It's weird, though, because it does work on my computer-- I see the book preview from Blurb. And yes, I have set the book on Blurb to have a preview available. Would having no images make the gallery description not show up? Just confused bc I see it in Firefox.

Having a photo in the gallery shouldn't effect anything. I'm guessing you were working on your site at blurb in firefox as well?

It's probably that the image isn't available publicly at blurb, so you will want to check the settings there.

Thanks again. I was able to figure it out. Even though the Blurb website allows me to have a book labeled as private, as long as preview is turned on, apparently that doesn't work when you are using an embedded link. I have to make the book public, unfortunately. It's too bad, as I don't want my clients books to all be public.
