Ok, I set up a CNAME record for my choicephotos.net

When I go to the last step in the Smugmug help page for setting up a CNAME record using Godaddy, it says

to go to my Account Settings and

When I'm at this point, do I want to be putting in the custom hostname box, the address I am forwarding my Choicephotos.net to ( in this case, winkphotoworks.smugmug.com) ??

Or does the custom hostname mean that I put in choicephotos.net.....
the name of the site I am now fowarding to my smugmug account site?? (winkphotoworks.smugmug.com) ??

you put in www.choicephotos.net

and it appears that you've done it right, becuase

your custome host name works fine
