I'm trying to embed a slideshow in a webplus website. I've made a smart gallery with a few images in it. I used the share to get a link to the galley as a slide show. Put the link in a webplus document frame. Works fine.

I also verified that if I copy the smart gallery slide show link, log out of smugmug, paste that link in the address bar, I get the same behavior -- clicking on an image takes me to the original gallery, not to the smart gallery.

However, if I click on an image, it takes me to the gallery that the original image is in, not to the smart gallery I want it to go to. And even there, it doesn't go to that image, but to the first page of the gallery.

How can I get a link to a smart gallery slideshow that will allow viewers to click on an image and be taken to that image in the smart gallery? I do not want them to see the original gallery, only the smart gallery.

We'd have to see the embedded code to see what's in it as far as "click to". Got a link?

This link gives the same behavior when gone to directly, so it's the link, not how I have it on my website, I'd think.

I would expect clicking on the image would lead me to that image in the smart gallery, but instead it takes me to the gallery the original is in, and to the first page, not even to that image.

Try this

Go to the smart gallery
Share > Show off > Slideshow tab > Configure options
Click to image > yes
Check other applicable things
Update slideshow
Copy Embed Code

Paste it into notepad.
Change this (two places)

&clickToImage=false

to this (the smart gallery link if this is not it)
