New Diffuser Test

just making a replacement for coke can diffuser, made out of stronger polymorph mouldable plastic.
diffusion sheets - concave inside [hampton frost ] and 2 different sheets on outside [253 & 129 ] from bogan/manfrotto diffusion pack.

first test shots,5d2 mpe-65 [ except last mantis 100mm ] very little post, mainly re size and sharpen

Phil--I'm also interested in your bracket because mine is not very good. Looks like you have two Novoflex mini-ballheads, stacked. Are you using just those, and a horizontal plate of some kind? what kind of plate are you using?

yes Dan, 2 mini ball heads bolted to a straight metal flash bracket[ about 30 years old! ] just removed the hotshoe plate to bolt the ballhead to.

a few old shots before second ballhead added for more movement
last shot shows how it can be angled forward to position diffuser near lens end.
