HELP!!! I want to display full screen photos without the use of a computer on a large screen tv.
My wants....
1920x1080 (1080)
Full screen

What I have tried
The usb slot on the tv (low resolution)
A roku device (Only displayes photos at 720p)
A WD Live device (displays only copped part of photo, or does not fill the screen)

Does anyone know of a device that might help me?????
Thanks!

SO you've recorded these to a DVD right?

If so, what program and codec did you use?

    What inputs on the HD-TV?

    Power supply?

    How many images?

How will the images progress? Manually? Automatically?

    Delays and Transitions?

    Budget?

    Thanks for the inquiries.

took me forever but I think i found a product that might actually display photos at 1080p.
Everything I have tried only did 720, not to mention it often did not display correctly.

    here us a link

    Apple TV. $99.

    http://store.apple.com/us/browse/home/shop_ipod/family/apple_tv?afid=p219|GOUS&cid=OAS-US-KWG-AppleTV-US

Connects to your wifi network and allows you to play really nice slideshows from your computer with no cables running across the room. Just pick an image folder from your hard drive and it does the rest, in HD. HDMI connection. Also performs the function of an Airport Express in that it will play music from iTunes to your stereo via a digital optical (toslink) connection. You can also use it rent movies and tv shows through Netflix or iTunes. The biggest downside of it is that it won't stream your desktop to your tv, so you can't use your tv as a second monitor or to browse the web (no Hulu! :cry). It WILL, however, play youtube to your tv.

    EDIT - sorry, it's only 720p. ne_nau.gif

An "accurate" reproduction of a scene and a good photograph are often two different things.
