Don't think I ever posted this... it was posted to CNN's iReport a few months back and I entered it into a DC Fotoweek contest recently...

Sighhh I miss the view from my old apartment...

WOW! I can't believe no one's said anything in this thread yet. What a fantastic view and even more so, fantastic weather.

I had to copy and view the image directly. Do you happen to have external linking turned off in that gallery?

thanks for your comment! not sure what you mean though... were you not able to view the picture in the thread itself? i checked the gallery settings and external linking is ON.

It's beautiful and, in some ways, haunting. Have you tried cropping a little from the darkest region at the bottom of the photo (I'm torn as to whether a crop would work as that region is nicely proportioned to the rest of the photo)?
