Tutorials

Ever find yourself wondering just how someone managed to create an image using different effects?

Here are three simple tutorials we hope will encourage you to try something new.

The Hot Seat

A lifelong interest in landscape photography has led Eyal Oren to make a study of his adopted hometown of Marblehead, MA. As you can see, his dedication is paying off!

Africa!

Dgrinners Harryb, Pathfinder, and others joined Andy Williams and Marc Muench on Safari in East Africa recently. Here are some awesome threads to check out!

A Troubled Household
Mr. Anhinga has been working his butt off looking for the right twigs for his happy nest.

He decides to take a break and drop in at his happy nest

He's thinking about the happy welcome he will get from his lovely mate

To his horror he finds an interloper in his happy nest

The interloper decides that now might be a good time to check out what's happening in a nearby pond

somebody has some 'plaining to do

Awesome shots - But it's the story that brings it all together. That was fun to read through! I have a hard enough time keeping my wildlife photos in focus, that I tend to forget there's actually something going on in these animals lives apart from just me trying to snap their shot!

Thanks Dan but those brazen anhingas pretty much wrote the narrative themselves.

Thank you Lee, this stuff should be fun. If it isn't then its time to break out the etch-a-sketch.
