Stats next to useless for many people

I have raised this point several times in the stats threads, but it's NEVER been addressed.

Anyone (like myself) that hosts parts of their customisation (slideshow, rounded corners of boxes, banners etc etc) on Smugmug will have misleading stats...

For example, the stats tell me I have had 3913 photo views today.

I don't know how many of those are due to someone loading a page and loading 15-20 elements onto the page as part of the customisation.

I suggested that the fix for this would be to allow us to exclude photos from some galleries from being counted in the stats but this has never been even acknowledged.

Can someone from SM comment on whether this is possible or will even be considered?

As it is, the stats are useless to me. Wrong stats are worse than no stats.

Three of the top five requests are for something apart from US lab fulfilment so I'll wait until one of those gets done before stealing votes :-)

Seriously... Excluding galleries should be obvious and not having it should be considered darn near a mistake... It shouldn't really require a feature request to exclude a gallery which is used to host elements of the customisation - ESPECIALLY given how fantastic the customisation is, and how many people use it.
