What do you think--too obvious?

I definitely didn't get ring the first few times I looked at this...but now I see it! I like that it isn't obvious at first. And I really like the lighting you used.

Hi Tatiana,
Yes it's my engagement ring. I've been wearing it for 10 years and looks pretty beaten up! With the macro lens anyway:)

Hi Tammy,
Glad it wasn't too obvious. I was very happy with the lighting for this so I processed accordingly and made it even more dreamy looking.

I do like this shot, although I have to admit that I did recognise it as an engagement ring when I first saw it.

Been married since Aug of 1999. So really I've been wearing the ring for almost 12 years, lol, leave it to me to get the dates wrong, I actually forgot my first wedding anniversary!

My wedding ring is actually right underneath the engagement ring in this shot, but you can barely see it.

I wanted the shot to say something about marriage "scuffed" sometimes they can take a little beating :).
