How to code a different nav bar for sub cat?
First ill say this forum is awesome, most of what ive wanted to do has been answered in how toos and posts already.
I have come up short on how to make a different nav bar for a sub cat specifically http://flashtoledo.smugmug.com/Metropolis-1. I would like to limit access to the rest of the galleries by removing the site wide nav and replacing it with two links, one link (METROPOLIS) back to the linking website http://www.mnightlife.com/ and one link (METROPOLIS PHOTOS) back to the top of this sub cat. Ive managed to change the banner and am working on removing the bread crumbs so when im done it will look like a uniqe gallery with no references to my main smugmug http://flashtoledo.smugmug.com/. Any ideas, is this possible even? thanks all for looking... J |

You can do this, but you have to use a custom built navbar, not one created in Easy Customizer. Custom navbars are described here. One you've created the second navbar, you can use CSS to hide the one you have in your category and show the second one.
