multiple homepage AND subcategory errors (IE7)
hello,
im getting complaints that my alternate hompages (navinsarmaphotography.com/galleries and navinsarmaphotography.com/explore) are not loading in certain browsers. when they click each one of those links (listed in the navbar), they can only see the main page. what would cause this error? I can't reproduce a problem in the browsers I try (IE8, Firefox 3.6. What specific browsers are they using? Do their security settings allow the running of javascript? Does http://www.moonriverphotography.com/find work for these folks (it is also a copy of the homepage)?

looks like both users who had problems with my site CAN see moonriverphotography.com/find. it seems to be a problem specific to my site. one did mention that she saw a javascript error, though. is that enough information to see what is wrong with my site?

Ive downloaded an IE emulator and found that BOTH subcategories and alternate homepages do not appear in IE7. when users click "places" on my website, all that appears is the two galleries (Asia, Europe) and NONE of the subcategories. Is this because of outdated Javascript? Do I have an error in my javascript? Is there a way to notify users they need to upgrade their version of javascript to see my website?
please let me know ASAP... people are not and have not been able to access my site properly since I have implemented changes in the structure of my website. needless to say, im disappointed.... |
