Great Blue Herons and Hawks in flight - Ft. George Island
Yesterday we were out at Ft. George Island, and I we were able to witness a flock of Great Blue Herons that were taking in the good weather and cool breezes. I managed to get a couple of what I think are decent shots despite the bright sun from directly over head. There were also a couple of hawks circling around but were much higher up, and thus difficult to get as good a shot, even at 400mm.

Some challenging backlit images that you were able to pull out good detail and color. Nicely done.
