I considered posting this under "Street Photography" but I decided not to be a smart-ass.

There actually are some people in it, though; in the very center of the image, there's a group of oncoming bicyclists who were actually much closer than they seem here.

I took this shot lying on my belly, with the lens only a few inches above the asphalt.

C&C appreciated.

Smart-ass or not, I like it

. You might have even got a neat shot if you'd waited for the cyclist to get to you and shoot as they went around you.

I thought of that, but it isn't a very wide path. If I were riding with a group of people there and we had to carefully navigate around some jerk with a camera lying in the middle of the road, I'd be annoyed.

True. I used to ride a lot, and I suppose I'd be annoyed too. Perhaps it's a shot you could go back later with a group of riders and stage it.
