The HTML goes in the gallery description. The CSS goes in the CSS section of advanced customization. You can put the new CSS before or after your existing CSS.

Per the instructions, the text or other HTML goes in the gallery description of the gallery you created to be your web page. I can't help you further without a link to that gallery page.

All text or HTML for the page goes in the gallery description. I see that you have already put some text in there.

Your CSS is not correct. As the directions say: "Replace the xxxxxxx with your gallery number.(Do not include the gallery security key)". For your gallery, the xxxxxxxx should be 16811346.

Hello, I'm testing out the customization features of SmugMug during my trial. I currently have a Zenfolio site at http://pddesignsimages.com. I want my SM site to look the same. So I followed these instruction to get this: http://pddesignsimages.smugmug.com/ The only thing I can't figure out is how to get my 'about' and 'galleries' page to to work. I would also like a contact page. Is there a built in form for a contact page?

If I decide to go with SM I want to keep all the customizations before my trial ends and slowly move over (in 4 days). Any speedy help is much appreciated!

If you want your site to look like your Zen site then I'd recommend not using a theme. You can have a plain black background without a theme.

If you go with a pro site there is a built-in contact form. (You can see an example of the form on my site.) If you go with power instead of pro you will need to build a contact form elsewhere and show it in a gallery. Many people who do not have pro accounts are using Wufoo.

For a pro account, set up the contact email address in your control panel, Pros tab. Set a bio photo to display on the contact form - http://www.smugmug.com/help/web-photo-albums. If you want to use that contact form from your navbar or links elsewhere on your site, see # 30 in jfriend's Collection of javascript customizations.

It looks like your galleries are hidden. Make sure they are set to "Show". Go to your control panel, homepage tab - if they are shown there, click show.

On the bio - you are currently using the built-in slideshow. I recommend you change to the JFriend HTML5 Slideshow - it uses HTML5 instead of flash, much better, and it is highly customizable. If you do that you will need to use the bio box for your slideshow, and that means using a gallery for your about page. I have wasted monthes to try to mimic andy's demo site wih lot of bugs, tried lot of pieces of code coming from hundreds of posts in dgrin,... and yesterday i decided to come back to smugmug default a little sad until support heroes gave me a link to your post.
What is fantastic in your tuto is that ounce you started you go to the end.
with other tutos they link to other posts with lot of possibilities and people ask more customizations during 123 pages of posts and finally impossible to make it work.
for the slideshow, people advised to use jf slideshow and i spent weeks to make it work in my andy demo website type. finally the one you use is simple and perfect for an intro page.

i did it long time ago and apparently there are still some comments.

By the way, i tried to put an image in bio and never succeeded.
i click on image, select galery, select an image and then not clear : a done button, a 1 selected button,... any solution doesn't consider my choice. how can i do that.

next step will be to understand how you made your beautiful grey box facebook. i have seen an explanation, i will try
