Two different URLs for one gallery
Hi All,

I have a question regarding URLs. Why do I have two URLs leading to the same gallery and how can I make it so it just has one URL.

example, both of these links lead to the 'same' place.

1. http://www.ashleylenaphotography.com...29661972_Wd6rS

2. http://www.ashleylenaphotography.com...29661972_Wd6rS

one is "/Weddings/Heather-and-Dave-Reception/"

the other is "/gallery/10510425_8kM3b/"

What's the deal here?

Thanks for the help!

Hi Ashley! The first link has the Nicename URL. The second does not. Was that gallery once set to Hide Owner? That will remove the Nicename URL and also remove your custom domain name and replace it with www.smugmug.com instead of www.ashleylenaphotography.com.

There is no way to get rid of the non-Nicename URL but people should not be getting that URL unless it was given to them or Hide Owner was set before and they replaced the SmugMug domain with your custom domain.

So a user that is browsing your site should never see the second URL, only the Nicename URL.
