What an educational and challenging round! We certainly had some new players join in and many of our regulars stretching their skills in a new genre. It was fantastic to watch from the sidelines.

Your savvy and awesome judges, trevor and VisualXpressions, agreed on six images, giving you fourteen finalists to choose from. Congratulations! :clap

Polls are open for the next 72 hours, and any previously registered member of DGrin may vote.

    Congratulations finalists clap.gif .
Sorry to see some of my favorites didn't make it (but that is the case in every round).

Hope this will get some of you to visit the PJ forum more often.

The whole B&W, what defines PJ, Street, etc. discussion surrounding the challenge and the genre. It's always amusing to read everyone's interpretations :D

I just read the controversial posts in the DSS 42 entry thread... I really had not read any of it... I answered Dan's post if anyone is interested they can go there and read my comments... The whole thing about the title really cracks me up rolleyes1.gifrolleyes1.gifrolleyes1.gif When I started reviewing the images I thought most of the titles sucked so I totally ignored them... besides a PJ shot would normally come with a cut line that would give the essentials who, what, where, when, and why.

I enjoyed being a judge and thought everyone did a fabulous job as a Photojournalist!

Winston, the biggest issue I kept coming across is many of us simply didnt know what defined PJ, and there were alot of opinions about it.... of course I was the only one that was right(:D just kidding everyone, settle settle.... ), and we slowly came to grips with everything....

you missed one heck of a round...but yet was in the middle of it:D

    PM sent for a c&c :-)

Need a little controversy to make a challenge exciting. I am happy to make the final cut for the vote. Have been AWOL for a while and not plugged in, hope to change that.
