I've never participated in this area of the forum. I usually stick to sports. I wandered over here yesterday and thought of my daughters soccer game today. I thought I might find a little blue in her and her team mates uniforms.

I have no idea if this is how I officially enter, but here's my shot.

Nice portrait in the light. Though the burnt highlights in her left hair add to the picture, I'm a little more bothered by the ones on her head. They catch the attention as well as here eyes.

To entry the challenge, you must submit your picture to the special gallery... Everything's told here : http://www.dgrin.com/showthread.php?t=145941

Welcome to the challenges!

I agree... the hair highlights work for me, the highlights in the eyes and face are a little too intense and distracting from the overall feel of the image. If you could tone those down a bit, I think you'd have a really nice shot.

So I removed the adjustments to her eyes which tones them down a bit, but I'm a little confused on the other comments. I don't see any highlights on her face.

Eyes were fine. I'd put them back. They are talking about the blown out (white) area on top of her head. If this is a raw image, you can probably bring that area back. If it's only JPG, you might have a bit more of a challenge.
