Dogs are typically treated with contempt if not cruelly in Mongolia so for this little girl to come out to hold her pet was out of the ordinary.

Last one.....again a relatively rare display of compassion for an animal. Mongolians are very utilitarian in their care of animals....but then again....it is a hard place for everyone including people!

Great series... My heart breaks for the animals that are not looked after. People can choose for themselves, animals can't. I can not read about abuse... it upsets me completely.
great kid shots. They are cute... lovely picture series. (Keep the kids coming, keep the abuse dog/horsies/other animals away from me ;o))))

These are fantastic! How lucky you are to be such a different place, and be able to capture the photos you have.
