Link from Catagory to single Gallery?
I think someone asked a similar question awhile ago, but I can't find.

What I would like to know is if I can have a category thumbnail linked so that rather then click it an open to a page with galleries in that category, I want it to open to a single gallery in that category. Said category will only ever have a single gallery, so I don't want browsers to click twice.
An example is my "pets portrait" gallery. It will only ever be the one gallery in the "Pets" category, so no need to see a page that only has the one gallery in the category, forcing one to click again.

Oh, I hope that makes sense.

You can either display categories or you can display galleries. You can't mix them on the "galleries" screen.

If you have a gallery you want to make available directly from the navbar, set it to unlisted to remove it from the "galleries" screen, and add a navbar entry linking directly to that gallery.

The only way I know of to solve your issue would be a custom script that was configured to change the link to point directly to the gallery isntead of to the category. I've not seen such a custom script anywhere.

It's been asked many times (it's a common issue), but nobody has done the code to solve it. Most people end up either just living with or redoing their categorization so they don't have a single gallery in a category all by itself.
