Uploads failing
Hi,

I am using a slow dialup connection (our DSL lines are down). Three attempted uploads with different uploaders have failed to upload jpg image files of ~1MB ea. I would have blamed it on my dialup connection, but the same thing was happening 24hr ago just before the SM site went down. When the site went up again the uploads went through OK.

The files upload fully but don't transfer into the gallery, there is an error message to say the upload has failed. At about 10min a pop that is a big waste of time :)

Thanks for your help.

Neil

uploading issues
I always use the simple method to upload without any issues. Today when I try to upload pics, it starts to upload and after a moment it will retry and eventually give me Write Timeout error. Tried couple of times and same results. Does anyone have any ideas of whats going on?

Andy,

The error message I'm receiving indicates a timeout problems. I'm using the new uploader.

Randall,

Just to be sure that another problem is happening, can you click the errors button and let me know what it is listing? I am testing right now to make sure that the problem was fixed.

ETA: I just tested using the same files that I had trouble with yesterday. It seems the slower the connection was, the worse it got. This morning everything loaded fine. If you are still having trouble, I would like to check your connection just to make sure.

Getting write timeouts
I am getting "write timeout" errors when I try to upload pictures (just started happening this evening).
Get the same results no matter which uploader I use ( have tried both MacDaddy and via the Safari browser).

I am on a Cable with 1.5 Mbs upload speed and I have already reset both my cable modem as well as my Netgear router.
