I like it too, simple, primary collors, nice composition. The only flaw I see is the one column on the right that is in the bright sun which makes it a different color than the rest. Its a bit bright, though well exposed, and breaks the pattern by standing out from the others.

Nice shot.

More wag. Less Bark.
I gave the image a little crop. Partly to get rid of the brighter
column and also to change the perspective a bit. What do you
think? Better or worse?

I did this pretty quick and it's a bit of a hack job, but i think it shows what i meant, not that it's a big improvement or anything, just different.

I like the original as well. This picture took my eyes down the corridor, stopping to look at the lit column and the shadows of the spiral. It then led me down to the tree framed at the end, as if I'd made the walk in person. Nice picture.

The original seems more "alive" to me. Nice shot.

You are right, what was I thinking. No one around here would EVER do anything that changed the picture.....

And dont get me wrong, I said in the first post I made that the original was a nice shot.

I just wondered if the bright column was a distraction. I guess the general feeling is that it is not.

In any case, nice shot, very atractive, nice pattern, nice colors.
