This contest will run from Monday, May 4, 8:00am EST (GMT -5) on through Monday, May 18, 8:00am EST.

Your theme ready for wide open interpretation: Energy

Jump, spin, run, explode! Or glow, spark, sizzle, burn. Energy comes in many forms, thankfully you just need to capture one. Give your judges a jolt!

Very cool theme. Now I just need to find some energy to go out and shoot. Going to Disneyland today so maybe I will find some there!! Wish me luck.

This being my first Mega Challenge; I have a question: Are we eligible to also submit to the Sharp Shooter Challenge #25 and this one?

How does that work?

Chris has got you covered, but I wanted to let you know he is correct. If you're qualified for the Mega, you cannot submit anything for the regular DSS round running concurrently.

hmmmmmm energy... going to try to be creative on this one....

I dunno about lightning.. The more I read up on how to shoot it the more I worry.. I mean every website you go to it says it is so dangerous to shoot it.. I am out on that one..!!!

seems to me that a naked man running through that ring of fire would really count....

We went from Homemade Lightning to Naked Men running through Rings of Fire..

This is going to be an interesting round for sure...

Let me think...

I could stick my 2 boys and the 2 puppies in a closet for an hour or two... toss in a few candy bars, wait for the sugar rush, then release them all with camera ready.... Would that work?

Been there, done that...it would totally work...you just need to add a few Red Bulls on top of an entire supply of last year's halloween candy.

I'm in the same boat. First thing that came to mind was lightning, but unless I can create weather, that's not going to happen in Southern California.

I do have two ideas that I hope pan out. One I will attempt in the next few days so I hope I get something that is worthy of the challenge. The other may not be practical considering how busy I am right now.
