Dragonfly in Hand
Not the best shot, but I thought it was really cool how close I could get to this guy. I am lifting up the leaf he is on to get a better angle. Usually the guys are very skiddish.

Usually, if you just wait, they will land somewhere. If they fly away, they seem to often come back to the same 'perch'.

Boy I'd love to find a dragonfly like that, how happy were you to find that one hu? they have the best heads don't they, like little Pilots with Helmuts
