Birds Of Prey
A local wildlife rehabilitation center had some birds at the wildlife refuge today. You could get pretty close with no fence or glass. It was a great oportunity for photos.

Thanks for the reminder, Greaps. That last shot, of the owl, reminds me why they call owls "wise.' It has that tufted eyebrow thing going that you see on some professors.
Lovely background blur, too. Nice sharp detail. I reckon my favorites are #1, #3 and #5.

Followd the link you put in a comment to me to find these. They are, in a word, stunning! I love owls and these pictures are breathtaking. As are the others ... especially the bald eagle. I'd love to see one that close and in person.

Those are some fantastic shots! All I ever see around here is pidgeons. They're somewhat lesser in the noble or wise categories....
