USAF Thunderbirds
These were taken last fall at the National Championship Air Races in Reno.

Beautiful captures!
Can you describe your rig & settings a bit more? What shutterspeed, ISO, etc.? Handheld/monopod/tripod? How much post processing? Those pictures are simply stunning!

Thanx for the comments everyone.
Tony, these were all shot in raw at f6.3 or 8.0 (aperture priority), with the shutter speeds between 1/1250 and 1/3200. Iso was at 400 and these were handheld. It's been awhile since I processed them, but I think there was some basic cropping, slight exposure adjustment, sharpening, noise reduction (although a couple of the photos posted look like they need a little more noise reduction). All post-processing was done in Lighroom. Hope this helps. Kevin. |
