I can see that you will be my hero :) my disaster of a site right now is.

http://www.rgonzalez.smugmug.com

the site I would like to see set up even in its closest capacity...which would be a single large photo or slide show.... simple text name and menu. Clean, clean, clean and black. Oh, did I mention clean?

Here's a perfect place to start. Put in what you can, can't hurt nuthin' and
makes it easier to troubleshoot if something goes wrong.

This tutorial will explain and guide you through the process of setting up
your Power- or Pro-smugmug account with a custom header, navbar,
homepage with a slideshow but no galleries/categories and a separate page
for the galleries/categories.

"RGonzalez's Home" and "map" above my slide show... also... how to I change my footer to to just say "© R.GonzalezPHOTOGRAPHY 2009 All Rights Reserved" Instead of all the smug mug links?

You can switch to the small smugmug footer, but you can't remove it entirely. See # 16 in the customization FAQ at http://www.smugmug.com/help/customize-faq.

You can put your copyright statement in the footer, either surrounded by <center> and </center> tags, or formatted with CSS.

To remove RGonzalez's Home, see # 23 in the customization FAQ. And the info for removing the map this button is in # 22 in the customization FAQ.
