Jumping Spider (or Zebra Spider)

One I never got around to originally.

This jumping spider was stood on a knitted cardigan.

I didn't use it cos of the light issues... these beasties are probably less than ½ centimetre long maybe...

"Salticus scenicus" is the latin name. I think most of us would also know it as the "Zebra" spider.

Opinions as always appreciated.

    Yep, window light through the kitchen door window. You can see some catchlight in its eyes.

    Cool shot Paul clap.gif they always look like they are begging.
    The Jumping Spiders I see around my place are very very tiny too,
    almost impossible to get a shot of them because they are move so fast.
