Accessing smugmug site through custom domain name is slower than through Smugmug.com
I set up a new custom domain name through http://www.smugmugdomains.com/, and verified that I can access my SmugMug site using the custom URL. So far, so good. However, I have found that accessing my SmugMug via the custom domain name is MUCH slower than via smugmug.com. Pages load slower, photos load much slower - it's pretty much unusable through the custom domain right now.

This doesn't seem normal - I've gone to other smugmug users' sites via their custom domain names, and the speed is fine there. I set this up a couple of hours ago - is there still something on the back-end synching up, and will performance improve within 24 hours? Or is something else going on? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hi! Yeah, a little while ago, we began a huge investment - spending a fortune to speed things up here:

and custom domains will come next
