    #6: One of your best!

Nice series as always. The light is a little harsher here - because its daylight also?

You are really becoming the flash master!

About the harsher light: I kinda prefer using a non-diffused flash outdoors to match our - rather harsh - California sun. deal.gif Especially considering the fact that I mostly shoot alone and can't rely on two-three extra people operating large outdoor diffusers/reflectors and hauling all the other Big Dog stuff.. mwink.gif

Actually it was a relatively short one, just above 5 hours with a lots of R&R in between (for makeup, change, moving, etc.). Sunset is aronud 5pm these days, as opposed to around 8pm summer time, so we're 3 hours short:-)mwink.gif

Nice work, Nik, and great model. Here's my critique:

I think having her mouth open a bit would work better in photos #4 and 9. It will make them more seductive. It's all about selling a fantasy or whatever and most of us don't close our mouths when we're trying to be seductive.

On #10, I'm not crazy about the shadow being cast on her leg-- maybe a reflector for some fill light would help? Also, her legs look thick in #10. Maybe more toe pointing or stretched out would help? She is definitely a bootilicious model and I personally find that awesome -- but just doesn't quite work in #10.

#6 is awesome though you might consider having your model look just a little bit closer to the camera so there isn't quite so much whites of her eyes showing.

But a great series and oh man-- your model here is stunning. thumb.gif

I am really interested to know what kind of lighting setup you use for shots like these...

Same as I almost always do on location: two gelled sunpacks, "straight up" (no diffusers:-), diagonal pattern if I can.
I believed I already posted some of the setup shots in my "tease" post, but ther are again:

    "tank" setup:

    "tracks" setup:

Now I know why train track shots are so dangerous. I used to think with the photographer looking one way and the model looking the other, how the heck could anyone even come close to getting hit by a train.

    If I was photographing her, I wouldn't see a 747 coming down the tracks.rolleyes1.gif

    Nice work!
