Are these merges or were you using a filter? There is a strange gradient effect going on in the sky with the first three.

na, no filters or any fancy stuff. just one simple expo per image.
it was my expo choice to do my best with the avail dynamic range... slight blowing out.... its just how they turned out with the sun star and this lens.... |

I like #3 the best. No clouds but you got a nice sun-star. What lens/camera combo were you using? |

Very creative, Aaron. Interesting perspectives, and I've never seen sun-stars with a fisheye before.

Aaron, what great shots! And such beautiful stars, wow!
I love the perspective that the fisheye gives you. And I think the cliff walls and their shape was just perfect for the lenses you used. |

Wow, these make me dizzy!
Love the angle. From the lot I like #3 the most The stars came out nicely, with very few flares. I must remember to take off any filters when I shoot straight at the sun. ![]() Ana |

They're all great! But I think the gradiation in the sky in #1 is too extreme for my tastes. I really like #3 and #4. But I have yet to do more than enter a couple of the challenges here, so wait for some other folks to pick one for the contest!! |
