Pissed Display Gallaries as Lists without photos
We photograph tournaments for youth sports. We end up with a large number of games and would like to post the games as links in a list form without a photo. With 50 to 60 games to cover, it gets a bit busy for parents to find their childs game quikly and easily. I know other event photographers display as a list, can this be done on Smugmug and how would I do it?

Welcome to Dgrin

See if you like this, add to CSS and look at soccer and softball sub-cats.

.category.category_Photography.tempClass.subcategory.subcategory_Softball .photo,
.category.category_Photography.tempClass.subcategory.subcategory_Soccer .photo {display: none;}

.category.category_Photography.tempClass.subcategory.subcategory_Softball .miniBox,
.category.category_Photography.tempClass.subcategory.subcategory_Soccer .miniBox {width:160px; height:100px;}

Edit: technical side note: forum added a space in the middle of subcategory, I italized the o just in front
of the space to fix the display. See space in this.
.category.category_Photography.tempClass.subcatego ry.subcategory_Softball .photo,

I can't say how much I really dislike the flaming icon. Classic example here of how cool dgrin is, first time poster asks fairly complex question, gets answer in 7 minutes from Allen :)

Can we lose the flamey icon please?

worked great!
Allen,

Many thanks! Sorry for the flaming icon and I do appreciate the quick response. Yes this is my first posting to DGrin. We signed up for SmugMug in January and have been able to set up a very user frienly website just by reading the customization postings. We are now wanting to tweak the site to accomodate our rapid growth.

I pasted the lines in as instructed and the two subcategories are showing as lists without the image. Not sure if the format should be a single list vs. multiple columns. I can live with this change for now. We have a big tournament coming up and just want to keep the clutter to a minimum. I can use the lines to modify our other subcategories.

One thing we may have done wrong in our website is connect our Gallary navigation to Photography category. Has this resulted in loosing a layer? Is there a better way to direct so we have maximal layers to work with?
