Scott Kelby Photo Walk- Islamabad Pakistan

Hello all it was great fun ! Here are images i shot. to see full gallery click
The place is called "Said Pur" this is an old village people say Budah also came here to worship.

A ancient Hindu Temble that is now restored

An engine made of clay about century ago by a person who is dead now but his son is looking after this engine. He told us his father got offer of 2 Million Rs from American Ambassador but he refused to sale it. Now unfortunately due to lack of attention engine is in bad condition.

Ah i thought this was great portait of the day but unfortunatly that piece of wood ruined eye

I was so excited to shoot with 17-40L but unfortunate i still don't have it had to stick with kit lens

Great set Awais. I really like the clay turning shot - the hands are so sharp while the turning table is moving beneath them.

But I have to admit, I don't get the Scott Kelby reference?

Excellent pics, Awais. I wish I'd known about the photo walk. I would have joined the one in Vancouver. Oh, well. Hopefully there'll be another one.

Fantastic collection! I love your ability to capture the energy in the land and the people no matter where you go.

I so enjoy your photos. Beautiful land, beautiful people.

Just a wee bit of nit...and it is a favorite of mine...to straiten the horizon just a tad of the children in front of the door.

Fantastic!

Who needs the new lens? You just prove that it's the photographer and not just the equipment!

Ack, I hadn't known you led the walk, Awais! Congratulations and what a fantastic opportunity. You are absolutely the best person I could think of to do such a thing. I know that Dgrin is so proud to have you

It's special because not everyone is willing to volunteer their time and expertise.

And without people like you, many of the world wide photowalks wouldn't haven't taken place!

So.. yes, it is a big deal! Thanks for leading and for sharing these wonderful images!

Very nice images. I enjoyed looking at them.

The man in the second picture doesn't look very happy that you took his picture.

I really enjoyed looking at these, as I always do. Your work is always good and insightful--I learn something about your country and culture just by looking at your images. My favorite is the B&W of the boy with the tire--it reinforces my belief that kids are the same everywhere!

Thanks for sharing your work and your time.

What a fantastic and diverse set. Not only are these technically sound images, but (more importantly, IMO) they speak to the viewer. They are bursting at the seams with soul, life and character. Very impressive images, and congratulation on what appears to be a successful photo walk.
