Nice! Have you calculated when it will set behind the towers?

    Thanks much David!

Yes, I did get that shot - 3 years ago tomorrow... though, more by observation, than calculation.

Your previous effort here as well, once before Super Moon or during Super Moon, the images are permanently burned in my mind and *still* some of the best moon shots, if not the best, that I have ever seen!
    Cheers!

That is very kind of you Taz, thanks!
Yes, now that you mention it, the second was at the Super Moon in 2013...
I was very pleased with how it turned out, but, I also looked at many Super Moon
images from all over the world, and I was humbled and amazed by the work of many photographers... the moon casts quite a spell on us!

Nothing since one I posted last year. I realized years ago that I don't have a long enough lens to get the fantastic detail that you sometimes see in astro shots, so my only option relies on getting something else in the frame when the moon is close to the horizon. You did a great job of that in these two.

Thanks, yes, that's your image I was thinking of - cool... I like that you have included urban elements in the composition. I'm going to venture into the city one of these months and try to find something unusual to combine with the moon.
