A very calm Tenaya Lake, but shortly after I photographed this, the wind picked up.

Mike, Excellent pics! You truly have a gift!!!

I have been flying ORD-SFO for the past 2 months and the SFO arrival takes us right over the park. We get our innitial clearance to descent over Mono Lake so are still in the mid 30's when we cross Yosemite. There was a chance that these were taken while you were on the ground?

Close! But I was a day behind you. I landed in SFO on the 17th at 1115. The pics I sent you were from last week.
