Tornado in Colorado

I shot this pic a while back, after sending my wife and kids in the basement I saw the clouds forming outside the back door. I said I need to get my camera to grab photos. This was when I had my Canon Rebel XT and I got off 26 pics before I went down to the basement. House did not get hurt but wow what a rush it was. I know they are not the best but the blood was pumping, so have to give me just a tiny bit a credit for my 1st time tornado pics.

    Terrific shots. The funnel is perfectly clear, the light is spooky and the framing with the houses makes the threat feel real. I'm sure I wouldn't have been able to hold my camera steady. clap.gif

    Holding the camera steady was a bit of a pain but for some reason I could not pass up a once in a chance lifetime to shoot this. I was in the Midwest most my life and never ever seen a tornado, come out to Colorado and in the 1st 6 years I was able to see one.

    I think #1 shows the funnel the best.
    I might suggest cropping-out the blur in the upper-left corner and straightening vertical a bit.
    Although, it does kinda' look like the twister is sucking-up the houses. thumb.gif
