Four Legged Fun at the Beach

Spent the day at the beach with family on Sunday. Had no idea it was a dog beach so we didn't bring our pugs along. I still managed to have a great time watching the other dogs have a blast. Grabbed a few shots that made me smile so wanted to share.

The last image is my favorite. Dogs are such wonderful creatures. Turn them loose on a beach and they just radiate pure joy.

I agree Sam. Anyone that has seen a dog play on the beach knows that all the experts that say dogs (animals) lack the capacity to have emotions are full of BS.

And I agree... that last shot is the fave. Those two were having a blast together.

BTW, I have to remember to carry my business cards with me to hand to the owners. I'd be happy to give them a free download of any images I take of their pooches. I'm sure some would enjoy them.

Thanks Taz. Hey... what do you say Joel, you and I get together soon to shoot? Maybe someplace in the middle like SLO?

Thanks. Yeah, there aren't many beaches that are dog friendly in Southern California. This one was up in Santa Barbara which is quite a dog-friendly city in general. Los Angeles County beaches don't allow dogs on the beach at all anymore, not even on a leash. Pretty sad actually. :cry

These are really nice, Alex, and that last shot is a winner! Of course, the thought of driving home with a wet, sandy dog in the car isn't something I'd look forward to... eek7.gif
