Mule deer family
Was in the eastern sierras taking fall pics and I stumbled upon this family. It was pretty late so I had to bump the ISO up to 1600 with my 300mm f4 and 1.4x converter.
The mamma and kid were staring me down ![]() ![]() Couldn't get a good shot of the baby, and he knew it and stuck his tounge out at me before walking away ![]()

#2 is my favourite - tack sharp and I love the grass along the bottom breaking up the outline
I was thinking too much "rear end" in #3 and then I saw the tongue out as well. I guess you were being told!! Really made the most of the situation

Good images, I would have upped the contrast and strengthened the balcks in the images.
