    they seem to be a disappearing breed. It almost makes more sense to get a 2nd SB-900 at this point. But I don't need this until October (unless I get more indoor gigs before then ...).

    with the rising prices of the SB800 , if you can find 1 , why not just go to the 900 ??
    What do you like better about the 800 ???

    well, they *were* cheaper only a few months ago .... presuming I can't find a used one, I'll just get a 2nd 900.
