Still going through my photos from my Friday/Saturday fall color trip to the eastern Sierra. Here's my favorite two pictures from Saturday morning and one picture of my and my camp spot before I packed up.

The first one is very pretty, as are both of the first two. The first one though, that's the light I live for.

Only a little rain as I drove in Friday evening. It snowed Thursday evening and closed Tioga Pass until Friday morning.

Oh those were fab. Brings back memories. I love walking in the aspen grove at the far end of the lake.

Nice light in that first one. Looks a bit choppy, I'm guessing it was pretty windy?

Wasn't too bad, but just enough to break the calm water.

Nicely done. That's great you can camp pretty close to such a photographic place....looks like fun.

Great place to camp and you got some good shots, Mike. It's amazing how much the light changed in 20 minutes, isn't it?
