    Thanks. Shots like these are just a walk in the woods in late October in this area when the sun is out. Wish I had time for more it's gone too quick.

    In the sunset pic you can see a train trestle that is quite a landmark. It's part of the NJ Transit line which runs from Hoboken to Port Jervis the main rail transit line for NYC on this side of the river.

    Was thinking about getting down to trophy point haven't been there in years. Before 9/11 you could basically drive onto West Point like you owned the place. Not now....

    I thought you kind of had to have a legitimate reason for coming on instead of just wanting to aimlessly sight see etc?

    You should see the bus loads of tourists they bring here. You have to have an ID and possibly subject your vehicle to a search, but it is an "open" post.

    I know they bring tours on, wasn't sure where we're at with unescorted free ranging visits. I may shoot down to the cemetery in Sleepy Hollow tomorrow, its a pretty good local photo op, tombstones from the 1700's and the old dutch church. pretty cool place.
