Two shots from a late summer camping trip in Eastern AZ. We got pounded with rain all night and woke up surrounded by clouds.

Wow. Low clouds and fog are a treat here, eh? I like the simplicity of both. It would be nice if the tree in the first could have been moved a bit farther from the center but I see distractions creeping in from the left, and I suspect you couldn't. White Mountains?

On edit: no, you said the Mogollon Rim.

I like the loneliness and darkness of #1 very much!
I noticed the third branch/stick, right underneath the second branch......and for me it is acting as distraction.....I would consider taking it out....JMO!
    Cheers Aaron!

Thanks Don. This was along the Mogollon Rim off forest road 300. We were camped out on a small peninsula. Composition was indeed limited as I was out on a small rock outcropping. A little to the left, right, or forward was a good 100 foot fall before the closest impact.

Thanks for the feedback. I see that stick but it doesn't bother me too much. That however led me to see the area to the left of that and the branch work coming in at bottom left. I might have to reprocess this one.

Both of these are really nice. The fog here lends a beautiful sense of solitude. thumb.gifthumb
